Elder Inzabula came from Kenya. He was the only one who didn't have a suit and he was feeling pretty bad. I have several suits here that missionaries have left and we found one that fit him so he was happy. After wearing it for a week, he decided to wash the pants. This was his very first experience using a washing machine and a dryer. He has always washed his clothes in a bucket. He is 27 years old. Anyway. . . . he came up to show me the shrunken pants afterwards and was so afraid I would be mad at him. I just laughed, but we talked about how to care for a suit. He and I both learned a lesson. I need to do some better teaching in regards to laundry. We didn't have another suit that would even come close to fitting him so I went to the China Mart and bought him one. It was $28.00 in US money. Amazing! I wonder how long it will last???
That is so funny about the pants. How great that you found him a suit for $28! And thanks for the comment on the blog! It was so wonderful to hear from you!
