Shopping at Brett's and Tomiko's

Brett and Tomiko have two separate businesses. He does things with fabrics. He makes pillows, purses, aprons, etc. (you see him standing up in the first picture) and she does beading. She makes necklaces, bracelets, key rings, etc. (She is sitting in the second picture where Brett was standing in the first. Double click to see them better). They sell things to all different venues including the airports. A couple of times a year, they allow a group of us to come to their home and buy things at a reduced price. (The things we buy would be double or more at the store). They have a beautiful home, yard, pool, and patio and over the years have become good friends with the LDS ladies. It was Sister Shanna Parmely that got Tomiko into beading while she was here serving with her husband when he was the Area President. Most of you will know Janifer Callahan in the second picture. Caroline, the cute African gal, is one of the beaders that helps Tomiko. Brett has just recently received an order from a company in the US. I think they are called Home something and one of the stores they own is T.J. Max. I think he is doing mostly pillows and runners. Tomiko has received the go ahead to send some of her things to Overstock.com so she is pretty excited and hoping they will give her a nice order.
