We pass this beautiful water feature every Tuesday as we head to the Temple. We see many, many moms with loads on their heads and babies on their backs and it still continues to intrigue me. When we head to the post to mail our letters there are usually some cute little African women hanging out and I always ask them if I can take their picture. They are pretty happy when I hand them a few rand for letting me do that. Along the streets and in the alleys we often see little make-shift barber shops set up with just an awning overhead and a man with some clippers and that's a barber shop. This was a little different, but they were doing hair so I caught a shot from afar.

I love these photos! We have a young man from our ward who will be reporting to your MTC in July and will be heading to Johannesburg I think. I've told him all about how wonderful you two are! :)
ReplyDeleteYou're sweet, Rachel. We will be excited to have him here.
