Checking out the penguins at the Boulders. . . .

This is the Boulders Penguin Colony in Cape Town. It is named that because on this beach there are a lot of different inlets between granite boulders. In 1982 they put two breeding pairs of African Penguins here and it has grown to be about 3,000 now. The African Penguins mate for life and while we were in the Visitor's Center store there was a picture of two penguins with the caption underneath "Together Forever." That had such a familiar ring! :)
