Kazuri Bead Factory in Nairobi, Kenya - Kazuri means "small and beautiful."

Sister Broadbent, in the Kenya Mission, took us on a tour of this factory and it was very interesting to see the whole process from start to finish of making these beautiful beads and also potteryware. Every bead and pot is handmade and from start to finish is quite a process. They employ the disadvantaged. They have about 350 employees, most of whom are single moms. They ship their beads all over. I saw orders for several places in America, also Australia, Netherlands, and Canada. I'm sure there are many other places they ship to as well.
