This was the first Sunday of our MTC "Shutdown." The Hooks took us out in the country to the Khutsong Branch for Church. It was fun to attend meetings away from here just to see what they are like. The people were so warm and welcoming and very happy to have us there. Should have taken a picture, but didn't think about it til we were on the way home and passed some of their homes. Very poor conditions. We are so blessed! Made me feel sad to see how they have to live.

The church buildings, homes, malls, etc. here have no central heating so this time of year you have to really dress warm everywhere you go. Dean and I were very cold at church as we are when we go to the grocery store or the mall.
